About Coach

Physical activity and sports have always been a significant part of my life. I began competitive gymnastics at a young age and had a successful career, winning multiple state, regional, and national titles. This led me to earn a full-ride scholarship to a Division I school. After retiring from gymnastics, I sought a new way to satisfy my competitive spirit. Having trained at CFD with Hillari Eaton before college, transitioning to CrossFit felt like a natural progression. I have been an active member of the CrossFit community for ten years, with the bulk of those spent at CFD. I enjoy CrossFit's challenges and the continuous desire to achieve PR's and hone my skills. Outside of the gym, I love hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, tumbling, and spoiling my dog-child, Forest!

Throughout my athletic and professional careers, I have found joy in sharing my expertise and helping others achieve their goals. My passion and expertise lie in wellness and mental performance training. By day, I work as the Wellness Director for a regional Health Plan, and in my spare time, I am a gymnastics coach and mental performance consultant. I primarily work with adolescent athletes, holistically guiding them in strengthening their mindsets and developing skills to be well-rounded humans first and athletes second!

Turning Point

After leaving gymnastics as a young adult, transitioning out of the sport that significantly shaped my identity was challenging. It was during this period of uncertainty that I reconnected with CrossFit. This sport provided a familiar comfort in competition and personal improvement and a community I didn't know I needed. I've always attributed the importance of the CFD community to my fitness journey. It has been the anchor that has kept me motivated and consistent. The connections built and sustained from this community are invaluable, and I will forever be grateful for the wonderful people, coaches, and friends I have met along the way.
